Three steps to your
personalized protocol.
Check your eligibility & complete your intake
Everything begins with your health intake — a comprehensive medical questionnaire that takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. You’ll be asked about your health history, current medications, primary goals, and any relevant lab work you have available.
Your intake is secured on a HIPAA-compliant platform. Your data is encrypted, never shared with third parties, and never used for marketing purposes. This is clinical infrastructure, not a lead generation form.
You’ll also confirm your state of residence so we can match you with a licensed physician who holds an active prescribing license in your state. ALYV currently serves patients in 40+ states.
Physician review & personalized protocol
A board-certified physician reviews your complete intake within 48 hours. This is a real clinical review — not an algorithm, not a questionnaire auto-match. Your physician evaluates your full health picture: goals, history, contraindications, and any labs you’ve submitted.
If approved, your physician will design a personalized protocol specifying the compound, dose, administration method, and protocol duration. They may recommend additional lab work before prescribing, or request a follow-up consultation for more complex cases.
You’ll receive clear, written communication about your protocol — what you’re being prescribed, why, and what to expect. If your physician determines that a peptide protocol is not appropriate for your situation, they will explain why and may recommend alternative options.
Pharmacy fulfillment & delivery
Once your prescription is issued, it is transmitted directly to one of ALYV’s vetted compounding pharmacies — all of which are licensed 503A or 503B facilities operating under FDA oversight and strict quality standards.
Your medication is compounded to the exact specification in your prescription, quality-verified, and shipped discreetly to your home. Most shipments arrive within 5–7 business days of prescription issuance, depending on your location and pharmacy processing times.
Your physician will provide clear guidance on storage, preparation, and administration. Most peptide protocols involve subcutaneous self-injection — a simple, low-gauge technique your physician will walk you through in detail.
Ongoing monitoring & protocol refinement
A prescription without follow-up is incomplete clinical care. Your ALYV physician will schedule check-ins throughout your protocol to assess your response, review any side effects, and make dose adjustments as warranted by your progress.
Depending on your protocol, lab work may be recommended at certain intervals to ensure your body is responding appropriately and that key biomarkers remain within healthy ranges. Your physician guides this process — you don’t need to know what to order or where to go.
Your care coordinator is available between check-ins for any questions or concerns. If you experience an adverse reaction at any time, you have direct access to your care team.
Before you start,
a few things to know.
Is there a consultation fee?
Consultation and physician review fees vary by protocol. All fees are clearly disclosed before you submit your intake — there are no hidden charges or surprise billing practices.
What if I’m not approved?
If a physician determines that a peptide protocol is not appropriate for your situation, you’ll receive a clear explanation and, where applicable, recommendations for next steps. You will not be charged for a prescription that isn’t issued.
Do you accept insurance?
ALYV currently operates on a cash-pay basis. Compounded medications are generally not covered by insurance. We provide itemized receipts that some patients submit to HSA/FSA accounts — check with your plan administrator for eligibility.
How long does a protocol last?
Protocol duration varies significantly depending on your goals and the compounds prescribed. Some protocols run 8–12 weeks; others are designed for longer-term use with ongoing monitoring. Your physician will outline a recommended duration during your initial review.
Can I stop at any time?
Yes. You are never locked into a protocol. If you decide to discontinue, simply notify your care team and no further prescriptions will be issued. Your physician will advise on any recommended tapering for certain compounds.
What states do you serve?
ALYV currently serves patients in 40+ states. Your state of residence is confirmed during intake and matched with a physician licensed in your state. Availability may change — contact us if you’re unsure whether your state is covered.
